DirghAayu Setu has two separate apps for doctors and patients. The patient records are identified via phone numbers. Both doctors and patients can manage documents through the platform. When a doctor adds any document or any other information for a patient, it goes to the patient's app and vice versa. This way, the application has created a central repository of all necessary medical documents – the perfect platform to help you create your timeline of your medical history.

You have the liberty to share your documents with doctors inside the platform and you can also revoke access of the document from them anytime you want. Once you share with doctors or others outside the DirghAayu Setu platform ,the link remains valid for 48 hours only. After that, it becomes inactive so that the document cannot be accessed further via the same link. This is to ensure your safety and privacy.
You can add such members under your own mobile number as a relative. Once added, you will be able to switch between accounts to manage the documents, prescriptions, etc.

DirghAayu Setu has been initiated with an aim to provide users with a safe and secure platform to store their medical records and connect seamlessly with the medical fraternity from the comfort of their homes. We encourage users to store their medical records and other vital documents like birth certificates, health insurance policies and identity documents (Aadhar card, Passport, Driver's Licence, etc). However, you should refrain from uploading private or socially-provoking documents as your account may be permanently closed in such cases.
We have created DirghAayu Setu with the vision that it should help every patient during medical emergencies. Your DirghAayu Setu physical health card has a 16-digit number and a toll-free phone number. During an emergency, anyone in your vicinity can call that toll free number and provide information and our executives will contact your emergency contact number and inform. On the other hand, a medical personnel can contact us in the same way and we can provide critical medical information (after validation) to help save valuable time.

This is a one-time charge that you pay for managing medical files for the doctor. Consider this as the filing charge that doctors normally take from you when you visit for the first time.
Yes and no. You can book appointments with your preferred doctors any time you want. DirghAayu Setu will not charge anything for that. However, if the doctor wants, he/she may send an invoice as part ofthe consultation charges. You can view and pay the invoice from the 'My Payment' section. Charges for such consultations depend only on the doctors.
We would request you to call your doctor to reschedule the appointment for some other time. However, if this problem persists, please our helpline number 18002677678 and we will discuss with the doctor and come up with an alternative. In case the appointment cannot be fixed, you will be refunded the full amount within the next 7 days. However, it is to be noted that this is applicable only when you have made the payment via the DirghAayu Setu only.

Enjoy this facility by simply clicking photographs of your prescriptions and other medical reports. Go to ‘My Document' and click on the 'Plus' sign. You will see two options –'Camera' and 'Attach File' (upload from the drive if you're using iOS).
Select the camera and take a picture of the document. In the 'Finish Uploading' section, provide a title, a description if you need, tick the checkbox of prescription (if it is a prescription), type in the doctor's name and specify a category or folder for the document. You can either save at this point to finish uploading, or you can press the 'Plus' sign again to add more photos to this document.
Organize your documents with folders:
This is possible in the 'My Document' section. There are five default folders and you can add more during 'Document Creation'. While creating a document, simply provide a new category name to create a new folder.
Share your documents with doctors:
This innovative application presents you with the unique opportunity to connect with doctors empanelled in our platform or even outside, via the link. When you are sharing documents with doctors outside our platform, the link will remain active for the next two days only and will be unavailable after that, for enhanced security and privacy.
Video calling with doctors at your fingertips:
This is how we facilitate contactless consultation. Visit the 'Doctors' section and tap on any of the doctors. It will open up the medical practitioner's profile. At the end of the doctor's profile, you will see three buttons. Tap on the last button 'Consult' which will open up the availability of the doctor you selected. Choose a preferred time from the list and tap 'Submit' and your appointment is booked!
Keep track of your medication:
In the 'My Medication' section, press the 'Plus' sign to open the 'Medicine Tray', add the name of the medicine and dosage, and press 'Save'. Every medicine is added with a green tick that specifies that you are currently taking that medicine. If you are not taking any of the medicines from your list, simply tap on the green tick and it will turn into a red cross on the list. Your health card will only show the names of medicines with the green tick for the doctor's reference.
Update periodic medical condition:
In the 'Health Condition' section, press the 'Plus' sign to add your condition as free text. It is specifically important to report periodic information to your doctor. For example, you can create your fever chart using this section and your doctor will be able to access and view it directly from his mobile.
Manage your health-related notes:
In the'My Documents' section, press on the 'Plus' sign and select the 'Add Note' option. Once you save the note, it is directly added into the 'My Notes' folder.
Fully customizable DirghAayu Setu health card:
Your health-card is created with your basic information, emergency contact details, QR Code, your last medical condition and current medication. You can further add the last five prescriptions and the last five medical reports to your health-card.
To customize, press the 'Settings' icon on the top right-hand corner where will can view a list of sections that are/can be a part of the health card. Tap on the 'Plus' sign to add the section to the Health-card or 'Minus' sign to remove it from the health card. Once you are satisfied with your selection, press 'Save' to mete out the changes.
Chat with your Doctor from the inbox:
Press the 'Plus' sign below to open the message tray, search for your preferred doctorto feed your message. Once done, press the 'Send' message button to send the message to the doctor. In your inbox, you will see the doctor's name as a reference to your chat. Tap on any doctor's name to open the chat history, for your reference.
Create and manage accounts for your family:
This can be achieved by simply registering your family members with your own phone number. This is particularly useful for members who do not have smartphones, such as your kids or parents.
Go to 'My Family', press the 'Plus' button to open the'new family member addition' section. If you add a member with your number, it becomes a separate account under your number and you can switch accounts without signing out. If you add a family member with a different account, it needs to be approved by the member and you will be able to see every document of that member and vice versa.
Pay the doctors using your preferred online payment method:
For consultation through video calling as well as chat, the doctors will you an invoice with their consultation charge. You can pay anytime through the app itself through any preferred online payment method, as per your convenience.
